Mr. Caine’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law, financial and banking institutions, commercial lending, bankruptcy, loan workouts banking litigation and real estate. He also has particular expertise in the areas of quick service franchise management and franchisor/franchisee relations. |

Mr. Caine serves as a member of the Banks & Trusts Committee of the Rhode Island Bar Association and formerly served as its Chair. He is also a member of the Massachusetts and American Bar Associations.
Mr. Caine contributes his time to a number of community efforts and was formerly a member of the East Providence City Council and the East Providence Zoning Board. |

Prior to forming Miller & Caine, L.L.P., Mr. Caine worked in the General Counsel’s office of a large thrift institution in Washington, D.C. and later for two Rhode Island law firms. Mr. Caine is the owner and franchisee of a number of coffee and baked goods shops that are a part of a national chain. Mr. Caine and his family live in East Providence, Rhode Island. |
